Three bodybuilders in Florida hatch a crazy scheme to achieve the great American dream. Instead of hard work and determination, they instead choose to extort one of their clients for all he has. When their plan starts to fall apart, they are forced to escalate their antics to escape capture by the Miami PD and a private inspector.

Most Michael Bay movies are packed to the gills with lens flares, product placements, explosions, gunshots, and testosterone field action. And while Pain & Gain contains all of that in excess, it is still an absurdly entertaining true story that inherently has all of these traits so it is a perfect match-up of director and story.
