Shaun of the Dead takes place in a sleepy town in England where Shaun and his best friend, Ed, and their roommate Pete. Shaun lives an uneventful life, working as an electronic store salesman and continuously disappointing his girlfriend Liz. During the another boring and monotonous day, a deadly virus is released that brings the dead back to life.
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost absolutely bring this movie to life with their banter and chemistry on camera. They are the heart and comedic soul of the entire movie. There are sharp jokes and quick lines that will make your sides hurt from laughing. Underneath all the jokes is an actually good zombie movie, which I thoroughly appreciate.
