Stranger Things 4 Vol 2 - A few days late, but here nonetheless. Vol 2 is an incredible finale, one that other shows should take note of. Full of lore, meaningful losses, and kickass soundtracks, Stranger Things continues to be one of the most fun shows currently in production. #strangerthings4 It's the middle of summer and that is prime box office season. 2022 is the year we all get to return to the theater, just like Tom Cruise in that random-ass out-of-touch tweet from a few years ago. So far 2022 has had a decent showing, with plenty of movies waiting in the wings to finally make their debut on the silver screen. Here is a list of every movie I've seen released in 2022. Series Suggestion - Stranger Things 4: Vol 1 - The highly anticipated 4th season of the hit Netflix original comes to a close tomorrow with the release of the final 2 episodes. A strong follow up to the immensely popular part 3, Part 4 vol1 is creepy, brutal, and highly entertaining. Stranger Things continues to be one of the few reasons left to justify paying for a Netflix subscription in 2022. #StrangerThings #Netflix War of The Worlds - A strange mid-2000s Spielberg sci-fi adaptation, War of The Worlds is enjoyable to an extent but the lackluster CGI, weak PG-13 rating, and bizarre Tim Robbins casting make this more of a headscratcher. #WarOfTheWorlds #TomCruise #MoviesNotFilms June Movie Blitz - Here's everything I watched since my last movie blitz. I'm planning on posting again regularly once Thor: Love and Thunder is released. Seems like a good place to pick back up. I thought Hustle suffered from immensely poor dialogue, an awkward supporting cast, and a bizarre subplot. Spiderhead was a promising idea with plenty of thought-provoking social commentary, but the pacing and poor CGI killed it. I recently started watching New Girl at the behest of my fiance and that's when I remembered Jake Johnson (#NickMiller from #NewGirl) was Peter B. Parker and it sent me down the rabbit hole of the MCU yet again. There are oddly placed scenes and the usual clunky dialogue with less than stellar CGI that is becoming more and more problematic as the MCU goes on. Sam Raimi brings together a very familiar cast with a few new faces and creates one of the most promising Marvel movies to date because of the doors it opens for the rest of the multiverse. While he was allowed to push the PG-13 rating to its limit, the implied horror and brutality fell short of expectations. #multiverseofmadness Who’s In The Box! - S6E01 - The Adam Project.
