My top 3 picks for this weekend are:
- Fear Street
- The Fear Street Trilogy is a series of horror movies with interconnected stories that was released in July 2021 (for whatever reason). You can read my review of the trilogy here. While they are fun once, they’re not necessarily worth re-watching unless you’re a really big Halloween person.
- Edward Scissorhands
- Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, can’t name a more artistically whimsical duo. Edward Scissorhands has been recommended many times on MoviesNotFilms, so it’s little surprise to see it again. Check out this mini review and then give it a watch if you haven’t seen it before. Currently available on YouTube with ads (uBlock Origin is recommended).
- Tucker & Dale vs. Evil
- Tucker and Dale vs. Evil is a spoofy horror comedy about two redneck hill billies living out their dreams of owning a cabin. That is, until a group of college students assume they’re a bunch of murdering psychopaths just because of how they look. Hilarity ensues in this cult classic comedy. Currently free to watch on Plex.
