From R.L. Stine and Netflix comes the Fear Street Trilogy, a three part movie event that left me pleasantly surprised and very entertained.
Fear Street is a three part movie series that takes place in 1994, 1978, and 1666. All three of the movies are woven together to create one massive story that takes place across the whole trilogy. There are homages to the slashers of old that will satisfy many fans of the genre. The concept is fresh and unique with plenty of twists and turns that will keep seasoned viewers on their toes as we are brought down the path of this mystery. My only gripe is that I wish this was released in October instead of mid July because it would have been the perfect way to start off the season.
All three movies are currently streaming on Netflix.
