A Quiet Place
A Quiet Place is the box office directorial debut for John Krasinski. A stunning horror thriller based on an incredibly interesting premise.
John Krasinksi and Emily Blunt work together incredibly well in this movie (might be because they’re married to each other in real life, at least at the time of this post). The addition of Millicent Simmonds, a member of the deaf community, also gives this movie a further layer of realism. Every action made by the characters is intentional and well thought out, which makes it seem like these characters are real and have real stakes.
A Quiet Place Part II will be released May 24th, 2021 after having put on hold for the 2020/2021 (2022?) COVID19 pandemic, according to Variety.
